# No Payment Method Required

This option allows users to complete the purchase (checkout) process without a payment method. This can either be used in conjunction with other payment methods to provide a choice to the end user, or can exclude all payment methods together.

This is useful if billing is handled outside of the default billing system and the payment gateway. If it is an existing user who's billing information is already in the system and this is the only option enabled, then the payment step will be skipped altogether.
