# Zuora Orders and PeakCommerce

PeakCommerce sends new subscriptions, plan changes, add-on changes and product removals to Zuora through the Zuora Orders API. There is no Orders-versus-Amendments setting to configure in PeakCommerce.

## What your Zuora tenant needs

Your Zuora tenant must support Orders for these subscription changes to complete.

* New Zuora tenants have Orders enabled by default.
* If your organization still uses Zuora Subscribe and Amend, review **Orders Harmonization** in Zuora. It allows an existing tenant to add Orders while retaining Subscribe and Amend workflows.

Follow Zuora’s documentation for [Orders Harmonization](https://docs.zuora.com/en/zuora-billing/manage-accounts-subscriptions-and-non-subscriptions/manage-subscription-transactions/orders-harmonization/overview-of-orders-harmonization) and the [Orders enablement process](https://docs.zuora.com/en/zuora-billing/manage-accounts-subscriptions-and-non-subscriptions/manage-subscription-transactions/orders-harmonization/orders-migration-guidance/activate-orders-feature). Confirm the appropriate approach with your Zuora team before changing the tenant’s configuration.

## How PeakCommerce uses Orders

PeakCommerce uses the Orders API when it sends a new subscription or a supported subscription change to Zuora. Orders must be enabled in your Zuora tenant before you use these flows.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.peakcommerce.com/guides/feature-guides/billing-setup/guide-enabling-zuora-orders-or-amendments.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
